Chantal Traub is a seasoned doula, women’s health educator, and speaker specializing in empowering women through life’s most significant transitions, from childbirth to menopause. With over two decades of experience, she offers expert support in pelvic health, central nervous system awareness, and boundary-setting, providing women with the tools to overcome physical and emotional limitations. Chantal also extends her guidance to other coaches and educators, sharing her knowledge to broaden the reach of compassionate and effective care.

Chantal has been assisting expecting families in the New York Metro area since 2003 and draws from her vast experience when teaching and assisting clients.

Originally from South Africa, she studied yoga in Los Angeles and after became certified, she started teaching prenatal yoga in New York City. After being invited by some of my students to attend their births, she became certified as both a doula and a childbirth educator.

Early on, Traub identified a severe lack of preparation among women for the pushing stage of labor, Thus began a mission to properly educate and teach birthing moms—and professionals in the field—to better understand the pelvic floor. Traub developed techniques for preparation and pushing that helped thousands of women have a positive birth experience, shorter pushing stages, minimize damage and decrease the birth trauma experience.
