I have had the privilege to work with patients in labor who have taken Chantal’s Pushing Power workshop. I can say without exception that they know how to push in a way that both protects the pelvic floor and is incredibly effective. Three cheers for Chantal!!!
— Dr. Worth, OBGYN Village Obstetrics
As a physical therapist that treats the pelvic floor, I know first hand how important it is to be physically and mentally prepared for delivery to ensure the healthiest outcomes. Chantal’s wonderful Pushing Power class was both informative and experiential. She provided moms to be and their partners with the didactic knowledge needed to understand the anatomy, and then guided everyone through specific movement exercises to reinforce the concepts and to practice for the big day. Chantal helped to alleviate anxieties by patiently answering questions and sharing her own experiences attending births over the years. If every woman giving birth had the opportunity to take this class and learn how to protect the pelvic floor during labor and delivery, I would have a lot less patients! I highly recommend this class.
— Sara Ruvinsky, Physical Therapist / Ergonomist

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Chantal’s Webinars! I highly recommend this class for all expectant mamas and birth professionals! You will learn such powerful and important information, and how to work with your body for the best possible birth. I’m pregnant with my first and I feel so empowered with the knowledge I gained from her class!!

As a pelvic physical therapist I highly recommend Chantal’s Courses. I learned techniques to help my patients prepare their bodies for birth and extremely valuable information that enables me to further help my patients in preventing pelvic floor dysfunction postpartum. Chantal’s skill and passion for this work is evident!

Pregnancy - Postpartum Health Talks

Chantal’s Pushing Power Class was one the most important things I’ve done in my pregnancy. As a CranioSacral Therapist I wanted to gain knowledge to help my pregnant clients. I learned to be effective in making space for the baby and exercises to protect my pelvic floor.
Most significantly I learned about my own body and how to work with it rather than against it for labor and the pushing stage.
I left class with a clear vision of how I can move through this intense experience with confidence and ease.
I have incorporated what I learned about my posture, relaxing my pelvic floor and visualization techniques..
Thank you Chantal for helping me to release a layer of fear around birth I never knew I had and giving me the courage to confidently face one of the most important experiences of my life, the birth of my first baby!
— Erin Oglesby, Cranial Sacral Therapist
Chantal’s knowledge, experience, and ability to communicate the different circumstances of labor and the pushing phase offer depth, multi-dimensional perspectives and many useful tips. As a prenatal yoga therapist for almost 20 years, the knowledge helped to enhance what I have to offer my prenatal yoga students and help them prepare better for the actual pushing stage of labor. Chantal is an expert in optimizing the possibility of full preservation of the pelvic floor and for educating us birth supporters. The information I learned has already grown the communication skills around use of the breath, and prompted further discussion ahead of time with expecting mothers about fears and tensions which allows for laying groundwork ahead of time to go over positions for the pushing phase. I highly recommend this class for expecting mothers, prenatal movement therapists and birth supporters.
